Assembling the TMAT Cargo System
Step 1
Estimate how many panels you will need by measuring your cargo area. Each panel is approximately three hundred millimetres by three hundred millimetres and around twenty millimetres in height.
Stack the panels with all male dovetails facing in the same direction before you begin assembly. This helps maintain alignment as you build the layout.
Step 2
Begin assembling the panels outside the vehicle or on the tailgate. Work row by row from left to right with all male dovetails facing downward and to the right.
This creates a consistent base pattern that makes the remaining rows easier to join.
Step 3
Once the first rows are ready join the full rows together working from back to front. Snap each row into the next to create a continuous surface.
Check that the panels sit flat and are fully connected before placing the assembly inside the vehicle.
Step 4
Add blockers in the positions you want for your layout. Line up the blocker pegs with the pattern and press down evenly until they seat correctly.
Blocks can be moved or repositioned whenever you change your gear or layout preferences.
Important Information
TMAT is an organisation and layout system only. It is not a load restraint system and should not be used as the only method of managing heavy or unstable items. Always follow vehicle manufacturer instructions and relevant safety requirements when carrying loads.
